I'm willing to part with these cheerful little paintings for a bit less than usual, in an effort to raise some funds towards my continued residence in Vienna.
If you have ever considered buying a painting from me, it would make a very tangible difference in my life at this juncture. It would mean I can continue to live and work in this buzzing little European metropolis, close to sumptuous galleries filled with the works of old masters from whom I learn unceasingly. It would mean I can continue the postgraduate research I've begun at the University of Vienna. Being in Vienna gives me, above all, the time and space to keep painting and writing.
Being Australian, my situation in Europe is always precarious--I live from visa to visa. My visa demands a non-trivial sum in the bank. Being an artist, money doesn't come in as effort goes out. So I have to be a little bit bold and ask for your help. Please help!
Most of my works are in Vienna, and I will gladly roll them up and ship them anywhere in the world, which means they will come 'unstretched.' They can be put back together again and even framed by various reputable companies. Some are hiding out in Brisbane. One is framed, and I would thus caution against the expense in shipping it outside of Vienna. I have tried to make all this clear in the notes on each picture.
